Our New First Family
Wednesday, November 5th, 2008What a historic night this was. I was pretty much glued to the TV all day listening to CNN and all the craziness about the polls and what was happening all over the country; the lines, the malfunctions, the different voting factors. I’m convinced CNN is the best news team all around; as they boast. So the countdown came and and McCain congratulated Obama sooner than later. Obama definitely took this county by storm. He is living the “American Dream”. I’m also proud to have Michelle as our new First Lady. She is a strong force and she has quite a presence. Overall, I’m happy for the whole family and my thoughts and prayers go out to them tonight, on a job well done.
So after all the promises and explanations I hope that Obama can guide our country to a better and greener future. Maybe things won’t change immediately, but it takes someone of great strength, passion and perseverance to get the ball rolling. I will be proud to call Barack Obama my president. Let’s hope he picks a great and knowledgeable cabinet and provides us with the change we so desperately need.
I’d also like to give Starbucks a shout-out for their free coffee today. It was nice, we voted then went to Starbucks as a group and chatted about how we voted and what we thought was going to happen. ~ Thanks Starbucks
More great news…I received a call tonight for a possible interview with a great company, which made me very excited. I want to work again real soon.
And last but not least working on getting the Past Project page up really soon. Its in a limbo stage and I’m tinkering with Wordpress and file uploads of large media. Question out to anyone there in the blogisphere…Would it be best to post all my videos or to just release a few at a time on a consistent basis? Any comments would be greatly appreciated.
